A prerequisite in the application process was that the Requesting Organization (the Kontea Community Council and the Kontea Refugee Organization) would be able to raise at least 25 percent of the sum of money required for financing the Project.

Therefore, our Organization has a binding obligation to stand true to its proclaimed intentions.

NOW is the time for each and every one of us to show practically our love for our village and our determination to rescue and preserve our rich and varied cultural heritage. Even the slightest contribution will be honored accordingly. However, in case of a financial contribution of £1,000 CYP or more, the name of the individual donor or family group will be engraved on a marble stone which will be placed in the church of Agios Charalambos.
